1. WHAT TYPE OF WASTE DO YOU TAKE? We will take ANY type of waste our customers have. (However, there are now stricter than ever regulations regarding hazardous waste) To find out more information, please contact us.
2. WHAT IS WASTEMEN'S ROLE? We will clear all types of domestic, and commercial waste. Our drivers will expertly stack the vehicle in the least space consuming way possible, ensuring you get the most for your load and money. We will also leave the area as tidy as when we arrived.
3. WHY DON'T I RENT A SKIP? When it comes to waste removal, skips are proving the least successful way. We highly recommend against this. Not only is a 7yd skip less than half the size of our high-sided tipper truck, it is also often similar in price.Skips are required to have their own permit, with us, there is no permit required.Skips are often left overnight, sometimes weeks. You could be paying for someone elses waste. As with Skips' people see it as a free dumping ground.Our "Waste Removal" team will ensure there is not unsitely and untidy skips for neighbours to see.
4. HOW DO I SAVE MONEY? We normally charge by volume, and the amount of waste removed. However, we will offer a service for non-full loads, also enabling us to give you a cheaper price. Additionally, if the load is "Inert Waste" I.e. Soils, bricks & tiles, our grab lorries will be more than adequate, with 4, 6 and 8 wheel grabs available, all access problems are covered.
5. HOW MUCH NOTICE MUST I GIVE? Wastemen operate 24 hours a day. Contact us before 3pm, and we will endevour to arrive next day, and 24 hours notice if arriving after 6pm.
6. WHAT HAPPENS TO MY WASTE? We are aggresively trying to ensure that all the waste that leaves our trucks is disposed of in the greenest, most environmentally aware way possible. I.e. Avoiding when going to landfill whenever possible. Currently, the vast majority goes to recycling & licensed transfer stations. Over 80% of our waste is recycled.
7. ARE YOUR PAPERS IN ORDER? Yes. Our drivers are fully licensed by the Environmental Agency and the Department of Transport to carry waste and operate heavy goods vehicles respectively. Our drivers our also fully insured to perform the work, and covered against any unlikely damage caused.
8. WHAT IF I DON'T THINK I HAVE A FULL LOAD? Wastemen will take ANY load ANY size. We offer a "1/4 and 1/2 load" facility and can take even a few heavy items. We do have a minimum callout price of £50 so you should ensure there is enough for us to take. Additionally, if you require labour to assist with making sure our vehicles can get to your waste, please contact us to discuss.
9. HOW DO I PAY? Wastemen asks that if possible, payment is made once the job is completed. However for cheques and other payment methods, we will allow up to 5 working days. We also offer account facilities.
